Thoughts on work

What made me want to work for this company was the statement I saw posted on the job site: "our company's motto is 'convey", not 'sell'".

I have a background in theater, and I've noticed some similarities in this job. Just as the saying goes, "no two stages are the same," different customers visit the store every day. By providing personalized explanations to each customer, you too can deepen your knowledge about knives. I find it very rewarding because a thorough explanation leads to trust from customers.

In addition, my co-workers all have different customer service styles and different perspectives on knives, so it's always a good day when I feel like I'm growing as I incorporate various values and knowledge.

I think this is the perfect job for someone who wants excitement in their life. The quality of Japanese knives is world-class. Many customers come from Japan and abroad looking for these knives. This is your chance to put your communication skills to use!

It's okay if you don't know anything about knives. I had no idea either!

Our senior staff will give you detailed instructions, and sometimes you will learn things from customers who are knowledgeable about knives. Knowledge and skills will come later, so let's have fun first!
